Song of the Shells

This poem may sound really weird, and that's because it wasn't written by a person, but by an artificial neural network (with one sentence prompts in bold, by me). It's what inspired me to draw this creature, not just because of the subject, but also because of what it is, as a sort of...collective consciousness. That's why I decided on it being a Phalanx, not because of the traditional definition, but because of... the X-men definition haha.
I initially wanted to do a comic for the full poem, but then i realized instagram only lets you post 10 pages haha. But the things i posted in the comic are just sort of... teasers for the actual things.
I want to use this poem as a prompt for future things that are contained within the dream, but i'm not sticking to it entirely.
The snail sleeps and sings a song of dreams and death
Dream
of the trampled flowers
Dream
of the fallen shells
Dream
of the glass tarantula
Dream
of the trembling pine trees
Dream
of the ants crawling in and out
Dream
of the snail beds and gardens
Dream
of the strange things lying and lolling in the black and endless winter
Dream
of the star-buried yellow velvet
the snails sang a song into the wind, and pondered how the sea and the land had mated and made the world. They will die, they will perish in a kiss
My work is done, the Dragon is dead,
And I alone am the King

When i made this poem it was totally free, but it looks like you have to pay for it now :/
