What goes into one of my videos?
Added 2022-08-01 11:02:48 +0000 UTCIf you're wondering what it takes to make one of my videos, here's a glimpse into my process for Pink Inside And Out.
First I do the audio project (bottom image) which took about a week or so. Dozens of layers, all mixed with several effects each, hundreds of cuts. All of the pads, bass and drones you hear are written by me, everything is coordinated to take you deeper. The voices are scripted, voiced by AI-powered text to speech, and hand-placed line by line into the mix. Layers and layers of sound effects, triggers and ASMR are mixed in to tie it all together.
With the audio project rendered, I begin assembling the video to match it. Most of the green clips you see in the top project are actually sequences that contain dozens of clips and layers inside them. All up there are about 30 video layers, hundreds of gifs/webms, thousands of edits and automations. It took about 2 weeks of editing all together, though much of that was spent planning and reworking the induction part.
