The other issue with a 'full monty' introduction - there are millions, possibly tens of millions, around the world expecting an alien meeting of this sort - I'm thinking Steve Quayle, Tom Horn, Greg Everson, Lynn Marzuli, etc. listeners who have an extrapolated biblical frame of reference for it. Things would likely get worse, in hyperdrive, before they got better.

Wonder why it would be that hot & cold. Particularly with various psychotechnology, game theory hacks, etc. you'd think they could selectively arm whatever groups or individuals seemed to have it together.
