*Chapter 112: No One Can Refuse the Uchiha*

Zoro is someone Koshiro takes very seriously. He sees in this child a true embodiment of what belief really means.

From the beginning, Zoro has always stuck to his ideas, relentlessly pursuing his goal of becoming the world’s greatest swordsman. He works harder than anyone else, even more than everyone else in the dojo combined. Because of this, Koshiro has very high expectations for Zoro, hoping to see him one day seated on the throne as the world’s greatest swordsman.

When Raijin arrived in Shimotsuki Village, Koshiro immediately thought of Zoro. In the village, Koshiro had nothing left to teach Zoro. He had given him some pointers in the past, but Zoro would need to experience real combat to truly understand them.

Koshiro planned to demonstrate what it means to be a true swordsman, showing Zoro firsthand. But as he looked at his sword, he chuckled bitterly. He hadn’t drawn his sword in a long time—could he really do this?

At the port of Shimotsuki Village, two figures stood on the beach, leaving a trail of footprints behind them. Raijin held a fan in his hand, occasionally waving it, as if he wasn't quite used to it yet.

Raijin was thinking that the Uchiha fan could absorb chakra, but chakra was just another form of energy. Originally, techniques like Fire Style and Water Style were derived from it. So what about shockwaves or flames?

The flame fan was crafted from the branches of the Divine Tree. Before the Divine Tree descended into the world of Naruto, there was no chakra—only natural energy in the air, which could be manipulated with each breath.

The branches of the Divine Tree could absorb not only chakra but also natural energy. Raijin had tested this in Dressrosa, where the fan could absorb forces like shockwaves. However, when it came to flames or other natural forces, it was much weaker. Artificially created forces were no different from ordinary ninjutsu.

But the Uchiha fan was never meant to be wielded by those who relied solely on ninjutsu. Every generation who wielded the Uchiha fan was among the best of the Uchiha clan, and Raijin was no different. He possessed vast amounts of chakra, so he never lacked it. With the right trigger, he could unleash terrifying power with the fan.

Of course, ninjutsu could achieve the same effect. At his level, even the weakest C-rank ninjutsu could feel like it could destroy the world. Using the fan just made it more convenient for him to use ninjutsu.

“I didn’t expect to bring out the fan so early,” Raijin thought, feeling comfortable with the flame fan in his hand. “I originally planned to use it against Charlotte Linlin, but I guess I’ll try it out ahead of time.”

With the chakra of Asura nourishing him, Raijin’s chakra levels had reached astonishing heights. Physically, though not as strong as Hashirama Senju, he was still among the top on the seas. His body had no weaknesses, and he was well-rounded in every aspect. The Uchiha fan was just one more tool in his arsenal.

“Mr. Raijin, you don’t seem very used to wielding weapons,” Koshiro observed, noting Raijin’s movements, which resembled those of someone holding a sword. But Raijin wasn’t holding a sword—he was holding a fan. Was this how such a unique weapon was supposed to be used?

Could this guy just be using any random weapon to deal with him? That’s incredibly disrespectful!

“Weapons are just a means of attack,” Raijin said calmly. “Whether it’s swordsmanship or something else, as long as it can kill, it’s enough for me.”

Strong ninjas never specialize in just one thing. If you specialize in one area, in Konoha, you’d only be considered a special jonin—less versatile than an elite jonin.

Raijin had developed every skill, knowing just a bit more than others in each.

“Killing? No wonder you have such a murderous aura,” Koshiro said, tightening his grip on his sword. “Even though you’re not showing it, I can sense the countless souls crying out in agony. It seems many have died by your hand.”

Living in Shimotsuki Village for years, Koshiro had been somewhat isolated. Hearing Raijin’s words made him feel uneasy. After all, the swordsmanship he had devoted his life to was merely a killing technique in Raijin’s eyes—a great insult to any swordsman.

Unconsciously, Koshiro drew his blade and took his stance. One foot forward, hands gripping the sword above his head, aligning the blade in a perfect line. His eyes gleamed coldly, and his sword was unknowingly infused with Haki.

“Let’s begin!” Koshiro declared.

In the next moment, a three-meter-long green slash shot out, tearing through the air and gouging a deep trench in the flat beach. The slash howled as it hurtled toward Raijin, fully displaying Koshiro’s skill.

Koshiro’s strength was enough to make a name for himself on the seas, but his unfamiliarity with combat was evident—he seemed to have hardly any real battle experience. His strength was impressive, but he was like a flower in a greenhouse. If he were out in the world, he’d be devoured, leaving nothing behind.

Raijin squinted, recognizing that Koshiro’s technique was likely taught by Shimotsuki Koushirou. However, having never been to sea, Koshiro likely hadn’t faced any strong opponents in a real fight. He was well-versed in theory but had zero practical experience. Someone like him was well-suited to be a teacher in Shimotsuki Village.

Raijin was genuinely worried about messing things up!

He raised the flaming fan in his hand and swung it down with one swift motion.

"Boom!"

The strike in front of him was instantly shattered.

Raijin stood his ground, not moving an inch.

This level of power wasn’t enough to shake him.

The strength was too weak! Even Doflamingo's subordinates might be stronger than this guy.

"The power's a bit lacking, but with your experience, you should just barely be able to qualify as a teacher at our school."

"I’ll find someone to train you, improve your swordsmanship, and maybe you could make some impact in Dressrosa."

"But, in the future, it's best if you stick to being a teacher. Becoming a great swordsman might be too far-fetched for you."

Raijin said this as he evaluated Koushirou.

Being an honest teacher is more than enough.

Though there aren’t any top-notch swordsmen in Dressrosa, there are plenty of powerful ones across the seas. Finding a couple of teachers should be easy.

Besides, isn’t Mihawk planning to challenge the world's great swordsmen? If Koushirou sparred and trained more, he could become useful to Dressrosa.

In a short time, Raijin had basically planned out Koushirou’s future. How Koushirou felt about it didn’t really matter to Raijin, as he never cared about what others thought.

"Mr. Raijin, I appreciate your concern, but I haven’t even joined Dressrosa yet. Let's talk after the fight," Koushirou said with a slight frown.

Raijin's authoritarian attitude made him uncomfortable, as if his entire life had been planned out by this man, who didn’t care about anyone else’s opinions.

This made Koushirou extremely resistant to Raijin, leaving no room for any positive feelings. After all, everyone wants to control their own life, not follow a path laid out by someone else. Who would willingly accept a life planned out by another?

"You will join! No one can refuse my invitation! No one! Do you think you can escape from my grasp? Or do you think you have the means to resist me? Koushirou, the sea is vast, filled with unimaginable power, even the power to bring people back from the dead!"

"If you want to try escaping from my control, go ahead. If you succeed, didn’t your daughter die in an accident two years ago? How about I bring her back to life? That should be enticing enough, right?"

Raijin smiled, uttering the most terrifying words.

At that moment, Koushirou felt a chill run through his body, staring at Raijin in shock.

What was this guy saying? Revive his daughter? Could that really be possible? But looking at Raijin’s face, there wasn’t a hint of jest.

He was serious! This guy!

At that moment, Koushirou was tempted. Who wouldn’t be?

Kuina's death was Koushirou’s only regret. Countless times, he had cried in front of her grave, but no amount of tears could turn back time and bring her back to life.

Yet this man… said such things, shaking his resolve. At that moment, Koushirou almost couldn’t hold onto his sword, with Raijin’s words echoing in his mind, making him forget that they were in the middle of a fight.

“Revive?”

Zeff muttered to himself. It seemed like someone had mentioned something like that in Dressrosa before, but those who heard it always fell silent. He never expected Uchiha Raijin could do such a thing.

This guy never mentioned it to him… Wait! This resurrection must be a trap! Zeff became extremely cautious!

If Raijin brought it up now, he probably intended to toy with this guy. What a despicable fellow!

Yet Zeff hesitated. He wanted to go back and ask.

“Hahaha! That’s quite exaggerated!” Garp laughed so hard he shed tears, as if he had heard something incredibly amusing.

What did he hear? Reviving someone? How could that be possible? There’s never been such a case on the seas.

Even the legendary Devil Fruits couldn't achieve that. The idea of resurrection was purely wishful thinking.

Wait! Ninjas are different; they have abilities that ordinary people at sea don’t. Maybe Uchiha Raijin could really do it.

Garp glanced at Zeff and saw the dazed look on his face, realizing Zeff didn’t know either. These ninjas were becoming more and more mysterious!

“Koushirou! Don’t let outside distractions get to you!” an old man shouted from a distance, holding a smoking pipe.

This old man wore the traditional hairstyle of Wano Country and always had a smoking pipe in his mouth. He stood far away, but his presence was like a sharp blade releasing a powerful edge.

He was the swordsmith master of Wano Country, Shimotsuki Kozaburo.

When Raijin arrived in Shimotsuki Village, Kozaburo sensed the arrival of an unwelcome guest and specifically came to watch his son's battle. But he never expected this guy would use such despicable words to tempt a swordsman.

If this swordsman were truly tempted, he would lose the right to hold a sword for life.

How despicable!

“Phew! Sorry! I’m not interested in that!” Hearing his father’s voice from afar, Koushirou’s mood settled down a bit.

He said those words with trembling lips, clearly showing his internal struggle. The words were extremely insincere, but he had to say them.

“You don’t sound uninterested.”

“My offer stands forever! Now, enjoy the thrill of battle.”

Raijin’s Mangekyō Sharingan lit up, but he didn’t use Susanoo! He stepped forward, his figure vanishing like a phantom.

“Zing!”

Koshiro suddenly struck, his blade swinging toward the top of his head.

The fan and the blade collided.

A clang of metal!

Sparks flew!

The jet-black blade struggled to lift upward.

But it seemed as if the man in front of him had immense strength.

Bang!

Koshiro couldn’t even stand steadily in place.

The ground beneath his feet quickly caved in, and the surrounding earth cracked inch by inch.

A gust of wind and sand was kicked up!

This scene!

“This!”

Zoro and Kosaburo were utterly shocked when they saw it.

They never expected Koshiro to seem so easily defeated.

In just a single exchange, he had fallen behind!

This didn’t look like Koshiro at all!

“…”

Koshiro was also at a loss for words. The moment before Raijin acted, his Observation Haki had already detected Raijin's movement.

But!

Koshiro couldn’t even put up a decent fight.

This guy’s strength was just too overwhelming.

In a single exchange!

It was as if a mountain had come crashing down!

He was already struggling just to hold his ground.

Is this guy even human?

This was the question running through Koshiro’s mind now!

Bang!

Koshiro and Raijin’s figures kept darting around the beach.

Blades flashed, countless slashes exploded.

They flew recklessly in all directions.

“Clang!”

“Clang!”

Raijin moved with grace.

This was the Uchiha style of combat.

His movements were precise!

Every attack from his opponent was within Raijin's anticipation.

Koshiro’s blade had yet to swing down.

But Raijin already knew its direction.

Even without the enhancement of Observation Haki.

Raijin could easily outmaneuver Koshiro.

Raijin’s movements were like a work of art!

Unlike the grand and sweeping moves seen on the high seas.

...

After exchanging dozens of moves,

Koshiro was always on the back foot.

The best he could manage was to barely fend off Raijin’s attacks.

But this level of combat!

It was like a one-sided thrashing!

“Somewhat boring.”

Playing with a rookie only gets worse.

Fighting someone at Koshiro’s level, after just a brief moment, Raijin lost all interest.

The difference in strength was too vast for Raijin to even consider it amusing.

“Whoosh!”

Koshiro’s response was a powerful slash.

In the short time they had been fighting, all Koshiro could do was swing his blade with all his might every time.

It felt like if he didn’t give it his all, he might be killed by this guy in the next instant.

But Raijin had lost interest in playing with Koshiro.

Fighting Koshiro did nothing to improve his Observation Haki or Armament Haki; it would only help Koshiro grow.

Raijin wasn’t about to make himself someone else’s stepping stone.

He wanted to grow stronger himself.

“Uchiha! Reflect!”

Raijin’s fan was no longer held like a blade.

Instead, it was like a shield, positioned in front of him.

The next moment, a green slash!

Bang!

It struck the Uchiha fan.

The attack instantly disintegrated.

But behind the fan, a pair of blood-red eyes watched.

“Taste this! The Uchiha clan’s Fire Release!”

Raijin swung the fan sharply.

“Whoosh!”

A whirlwind of flames burst forth.

The wind fanned the fire to its fullest extent.

A massive flaming tornado instantly rushed toward Koshiro.

The terrifying flames shot out, setting the entire forest ablaze.

But no one on the coast cared about the forest.

All their attention was on the fiery tornado.

Zoro and Kosaburo watched with their hearts in their throats!

Hoping Koshiro could find a way to turn things around.

“That’s pretty terrifying.”

Garp laughed nonchalantly.

As long as the fight didn’t affect any civilians, he didn’t need to step in, so he could afford to make light of the situation.

“He’s coming out!”

Zephyr suddenly spoke, watching the flaming tornado.

“Slash!”

A strike flew out from within the fiery tornado.

Under everyone’s astonished gaze, a man, his hair completely burned off and his body still smoldering with flames, sliced through the tornado from mid-air.

“Thud!”

But he didn’t have a graceful landing, hitting the ground face first.

He lay motionless on the beach, the flames on his body extinguished as he fell.

At this moment, Zoro and the others breathed a sigh of relief.

They had almost thought Koshiro wouldn’t make it out.

Koshiro hadn’t let them down.

“Since you lost, accept your defeat gracefully!”

“I’ll take your family and your students now!”

Raijin glanced at Koshiro, his face showing no emotion.

His potential was limited!

If he had been training on the seas for ten years, Raijin might have paid him more attention.

But now!

He’d be better off just staying on as a teacher.

Koshiro couldn’t hear any of this.

He could only be tossed into Dressrosa like a half-dead dog by Shiranui Genma.

And the dojo in Shimotsuki Village was relocated.

The children were also sent to Dressrosa.

Some of the kids were locals, so Raijin had the navy negotiate with their parents.

Those parents quickly agreed to send their kids to Dressrosa for further training.

Raijin took control of Shimotsuki Village!
