Chapter 118: Arlong is Really Pissed Off**

In the ocean, fishmen move at incredible speeds.

All you can see are bubbles streaming past.

You can’t even catch a glimpse of their afterimages.

“Is that a Devil Fruit user?!”

Nami looked at the figure in the center of the ocean.

Devil Fruits existed in the East Blue, but they were practically becoming legends.

There were no strong figures among the Navy in the East Blue, so they rarely saw Devil Fruits.

As for the pirates, the few left were just nobodies.

It was almost impossible to encounter a Devil Fruit user.

Nami herself had hardly seen any Devil Fruit users.

Was this Devil Fruit user here to save her village?

“…”

Nami opened her mouth, wanting to say something.

But seeing Arlong’s devilish figure sitting nearby, she hesitated.

She originally wanted to call for help, to beg the stranger for assistance, but she couldn’t bring herself to speak.

She couldn’t gamble with her village!

Even if the person in front of her was here to cause trouble for Arlong.

Nami was scared!

She was terrified that the figure standing on the water might lose to Arlong.

If he lost to Arlong, she would be held accountable afterward.

Maybe Arlong wouldn’t hurt her because she was valuable.

She drew the sea charts of the East Blue for the Arlong Pirates!

But these devils wouldn’t show any mercy to the people of Cocoyashi Village.

It would be a nightmare for Cocoyashi Village.

Who knows how many people might die!

“Help me… please, save me…”

Nami whispered, kneeling on the ground, her tears falling continuously.

She didn’t even know what she was thinking, but she desperately wanted to call out to Raijin for help.

The Navy?

They were in cahoots with Arlong.

Was there anyone left in the East Blue that Nami could rely on?

Nami’s heart was filled with doubt and hope.

Right now, Raijin was the only light she could see.

Arlong had destroyed her home, her village, and her dreams.

Arlong was the nightmare that loomed over her heart.

Nami kept praying!

Praying that the figure standing on the sea would save her.

That he could save the village that was on the brink of destruction.

She was willing to pay any price.

As long as her village could be saved, that would be enough.

“Coming right at me, huh?”

Raijin glanced underwater, his Observation Haki clearly detecting a figure moving rapidly below.

The speed was astonishing, almost rivaling that of the Mist Village's ninjas.

These fishmen had a huge advantage underwater.

Ordinary Water Style ninjas couldn’t match their speed.

They were a uniquely gifted race!

They had advantages that humans did not.

But!

The fishmen were just too weak.

Their so-called strength was merely superficial.

They could bully ordinary people, sure, but when faced with anyone with real power, they would hit a wall.

And what they were hitting now wasn’t just a wall… it was a Grim Reaper.

A Grim Reaper capable of claiming their lives.

Raijin’s steps did not falter; he walked steadily on the water towards Arlong Park, ripples spreading outward from each step.

The surface of the sea was deathly still!

It was as if the calm before the storm…

The Marines on the warship held their breath.

They could see a huge shadow growing under Raijin.

The shadow kept expanding, gradually enveloping Raijin’s figure.

Some Marines on the ship tried to shout something, but Zephyr stopped them.

Zephyr didn’t believe that this kid could lose to a bunch of fishmen here.

In his eyes, these fishmen were incredibly weak.

Zephyr even worried he might accidentally crush them with a squeeze.

How could Raijin, of all people, do something so embarrassing?

“Splash!”

A giant mouth opened on the surface of the water, instantly swallowing Raijin whole.

The huge figure finally emerged from the water—it was a giant sea cow, its eyes glowing with a bloody light.

This was the Arlong Pirates' pet, brought by Arlong from Fishman Island to the East Blue.

On Fishman Island, it might have been a small fry, but here in the East Blue...

It was a fearsome Sea King that struck terror into people!

Its enormous body could easily destroy a whole town.

For the civilians of the East Blue, it was a cataclysmic threat.

“He got eaten!”

Nami’s face went pale as she stared at the sea cow, muttering to herself.

She had initially seen Raijin as the savior of Cocoyashi Village.

But who would’ve thought that this savior would be so weak?

He was swallowed whole by the sea cow in an instant.

“Hey, Moo Moo, I didn’t say that was food for you!”

“Spit him out for Brother Arlong later!”

“After all, Brother Arlong is in a bad mood right now. You wouldn’t want him to vent his anger on you, right?”

The kissing fish fishman emerged from the water, coldly glaring at the sea cow.

He had thought this human had some skills and sent Moo Moo to test him, but it turned out the human was swallowed in an instant.

This left Chu deeply disappointed, and he lost all interest in Raijin.

If Raijin survived, they’d let Brother Arlong vent his frustrations on him.

Maybe they’d put this guy’s head on display at Arlong Park.

“Moo.”

The sea cow's face was flushed red as it stood before Chu, making continuous gestures.

Although mermen could generally understand the way sea beasts expressed themselves, this kind of pantomime was beyond him.

"What’s wrong with you?"

Chu, with a slightly impatient look, glanced at Moo Moo’s wide-open mouth.

Could this guy have something stuck in his throat?

Chu took a couple of steps forward, motioning for Moo Moo to open his mouth. But in the next instant—

“Splurt!”

A pair of large hands burst through the sea cow’s flesh, grabbing the kissing fish by the neck and squeezing it tightly.

“Ho…how is this possible?!”

Chu stared in shock at the hands that extended from the bloody hole in the sea cow's body.

He never imagined that this guy would be unscathed. Worse yet, he could even break through Moo Moo’s defenses!

"Seafloor scum! What did you just say?"

"A bunch of trash like you dare to act up in front of me?"

"Consider it an honor to die by my hands, you worthless garbage."

One hand tore through Moo Moo’s flesh as the figure forcefully emerged from inside the sea cow's mouth.

Raijin gripped the kissing fish’s neck, feeling a wave of disgust. The stench inside this sea cow's mouth was unbearable! And it was all because of these worthless beings in front of him!

Raijin's lips curled into a sneer as the Sharingan in his eyes began to transform. From the original three-tomoe, it had evolved into the Mangekyo.

Graceful? Raijin couldn’t care less about such things right now.

“Cough, cough! We’re not garbage...”

A sharp bead of water shot out of the kissing fish's mouth.

Raijin slightly tilted his head, allowing the water bead to narrowly miss his hair. But this only infuriated Raijin even more.

"Well, well! It seems you mermen have some pride, huh?"

"In that case, when I return to the New World, I’ll bring Fish-Man Island under my rule."

"I’d like to see if your merman pride holds up against overwhelming power."

Raijin’s smile was cruel. He hadn’t been particularly interested in Fish-Man Island before, but if the mermen dared to provoke him, he’d make sure to break their so-called pride.

"What...what?"

Chu froze. This guy knew about Fish-Man Island. He must be from the New World!

In an instant, Chu deeply regretted his actions, realizing the trouble he had brought upon Fish-Man Island. He wanted to say something, but—

“Snap!”

Raijin had no interest in hearing him out and crushed his vocal cords on the spot. Now, the kissing fish could only let out agonizing cries; no other sound could escape his mouth.

But this wasn’t over!

“Crack!”

Raijin pulled the merman closer and snapped both of his arms with one swift move. The arms twisted into grotesque shapes, mangled like twisted pretzels.

“Ah…”

A piercing scream echoed across the sea as the merman endured brutal torture, treated by Raijin as less than human.

“This guy seems to have lost his temper.”

Zephyr watched Raijin’s actions with a slight smirk. This kid couldn’t stand even the slightest insult. But then again, a true strongman does as he pleases, guided by his whims and not bound by anything. Only then can one become a true powerhouse on the sea. And in Zephyr’s eyes, Raijin fit that mold perfectly.

Just getting eaten by a sea beast had made him this angry. It seemed worse than someone invading Dressrosa. How outrageous!

But what did it have to do with him? It was just a bunch of mermen, after all.

Although Zephyr held no prejudices, these morally corrupt mermen didn’t deserve to live on this ocean. Even if the Sun Pirates had a few decent members, there were still those who were trash.

“Chu!”

Arlong was now completely on edge. He had originally thought that Chu would easily deal with this guy. Just moments ago, he was clapping and cheering when Raijin got swallowed by the sea beast. But he never expected the tables to turn so quickly.

Their Arlong Pirates’ pet, Moo Moo, was now floating belly-up in the sea, likely dead. His top henchman was also captured and being tortured by Raijin.

"The merman… has been defeated?"

Nami's pupils contracted sharply, watching in disbelief at the figure on the water’s surface. That figure was tall and imposing, a stark contrast to the terror she felt towards the mermen. Now, that man was torturing the merman, his limbs twisted and broken. The only sound that could be heard were agonizing screams; nothing else pierced the air.

Nami remembered the arrogance and disregard for others that the merman had shown when he arrived in Cocoyasi Village, even threatening to destroy it—a threat that had terrified her. But now, the once arrogant merman was reduced to a tortured shell. How did this man do it? Who was he?

Could a human truly defeat these mermen? Was it really possible?

Hope once again filled Nami's eyes.

“Mermen, kneel now and apologize, and I’ll let one of you live to report back to Jinbe. As one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, I’m willing to give Jinbe a chance to make amends. So, what do you say?”

Raijin’s booming voice reached the Arlong Park.

“Damn it!”

Arlong clenched his teeth at the sight of the figure. This guy… had killed yet another of his kind and dared to utter such arrogant words. It had been a long time since Arlong had seen someone this reckless. And as for the Seven Warlords of the Sea? They were nothing but lapdogs of the Navy and the World Government. What was so impressive about that? How dare he be so cocky?

"Not willing, huh? In that case, prepare to face your deaths."

Raijin dropped the kissing fish, who was barely clinging to life. His anger had subsided a bit. He was willing to give these mermen a chance, to see if they would seize it. But alas, they squandered it.

Fine then!

Once he returned, he’d warn Jinbe, telling him to come to Dressrosa and kneel in apology. As long as Jinbe showed genuine remorse, Raijin would be willing to overlook the negative impression the mermen had left on him. He might even take Fish-Man Island under his protection.

“Are you kidding me? Just a mere human…”

Arlong’s eyes blazed with fury. He couldn’t believe that a human could be this arrogant, as if the captain of the Arlong Pirates didn’t even exist in his eyes!

“A mere human?”

A cold voice echoed from the distance, stoking Raijin’s ire further.
