*Chapter 132: Rest and Recover in Dressrosa*

Jin's figure twisted and turned in the air as if there were no limits to his agility.

The moment Jin vanished from his original position, Mihawk stood firm, gripping Yoru tightly, alert to his surroundings.

Mihawk didn't consider himself invincible.

Although his strength was formidable, he was still far from being the absolute peak of the seas.

There were three powerful pirates and a group of monstrous Marines that roamed the oceans.

Mihawk knew he wasn't a match for them.

Against these foes, he wouldn't even last a single exchange.

He hadn't yet fully realized his potential!

There was still a considerable gap between him and the top of the ocean.

But it wasn't an unbridgeable gap.

However, Jin was different from these people—his level was slightly lower.

But still, this guy was peculiar.

Taking into account what Raijin said earlier about Jin being a remnant of the Lunarian tribe.

A tribe that possibly only had one survivor left on the entire sea.

Every race has unique abilities, and Mihawk had never heard of this one.

But the flames behind Jin gave Mihawk a clue.

This guy wasn't just someone who ate an ancient Zoan Devil Fruit.

At the very least, a Pteranodon doesn’t have fire on the back of its head.

Otherwise, it’d be a "Flaming Pteranodon."

Buzz!

The sudden sound of something flying at high speed interrupted Mihawk's thoughts.

Jin's figure instantly appeared behind Mihawk, with the Pteranodon's head diving straight toward him.

The target was Mihawk’s heart; if it hit, the battle would be over.

Jin would be the victor of this arena.

Bang!

Mihawk reacted just in time, using his black blade to block the attack from behind.

But Mihawk hadn’t unleashed his full strength yet.

Under Jin’s immense power, Mihawk was pushed back and sent flying.

He crashed into Uchiha’s fiery barrier.

Sizzle

Mihawk's face twitched, his eyes filled with red veins.

His clothes were scorched by the flames, and he could clearly feel the sting on his back.

The flames continued to torment his skin; if it weren't for his Armament Haki,

His back would've been burned down to the bone. This barrier really was capable of withstanding their attacks.

And it was so strong that he had become the first to experience it.

Boom!

Mihawk swung his black blade with all his might, leaving a green arc in the air.

But Jin's speed was now beyond what Mihawk could keep up with.

As Mihawk made his move, Jin had already disappeared.

Jin had now retracted the flames on his back, greatly enhancing his speed.

Not to mention the boost from the Ancient Zoan, Pteranodon Fruit.

Jin's speed had now broken through the limits.

Mihawk’s usual attacks could barely hit Jin.

Thud!

Mihawk landed back in the arena, gasping for air.

His forehead was covered in sweat, but the sharpness in his eyes hadn’t diminished at all.

He tore off his upper clothing, revealing his toned physique.

This drew cheers from many women in the crowd.

These women, faces flushed, mouths slightly open, eyes glistening.

His handsome gaze was like the most lethal poison to these women.

They now wished to rush up and have Mihawk stab them with the small cross-shaped knife hanging around his neck.

But this was the first time Mihawk had been forced to such an extent.

He never imagined that such a guy could make him this disheveled.

Indeed!

This battle here was truly interesting.

"These flames just got me warmed up. I didn't expect someone like you to exist."

"Your bizarre speed must be related to your race."

Mihawk looked up at the sky, where the figure with massive wings hovered.

The flames that once burned behind Jin were now gone, and his speed had significantly increased.

"So what if it is? Your fate is already sealed."

Jin was now deeply troubled, with his identity exposed by Raijin.

In the future, his identity would no longer be a mystery, possibly attracting many prying eyes.

The World Government and the Marines might not need him now, but others wouldn’t necessarily overlook him.

The Lunarian tribe was known as the "God Race," a race that few could resist taking an interest in.

As for the people of Wano, it seemed he might not be able to take them back himself.

His identity would make news across the sea.

Who knows how the World Government would react?

Would they continue hunting him?

"Not necessarily!"

Mihawk’s lips curled into a smile; he had already been ambushed once!

Now, he was fully prepared. Even if this guy tried to ambush him again,

It might not work, and besides,

Mihawk felt his Observation Haki had significantly improved.

Mihawk was continuously absorbing experience, making himself stronger.

Not only in swordsmanship but also in Haki.

The guy in front of him would no longer be a problem.

As Mihawk finished speaking!

Jin's figure disappeared again, his entire body transforming into a Pteranodon.

Using his body as a weapon, he charged straight at Mihawk from one direction.

"Donbow King!"

With a flap of his wings, countless attacks turned into afterimages.

Clang!

Clang!

Clang!

Mihawk seemed to know what was coming.

His black blade moved like a blur!

All the attacks were intercepted.

The sound of metal clashing rang out repeatedly.

In the center of the arena, sparks flew from their constant friction.

Both fighters’ movements turned into afterimages.

Anyone with a bounty less than 500 million Berries wouldn’t even be able to follow their movements.

These two fighters unleashed relentless attacks, sending shockwaves rippling through the surroundings.

The arena was shattered into pieces, countless fragments flying through the air.

Luckily, the barrier surrounding them held firm; breaking through wouldn’t be easy.

The moment those fragments touched the barrier, they turned to dust.

On the arena, the two had only clashed for a few seconds.

Mihawk blocked all of Jhin's attacks, showcasing a brief surge in his power from the recent battle.

That's how geniuses are—they can push themselves even further when necessary. Despite standing at the top of the world, Mihawk managed to temporarily break through his limits, something few people can achieve in the heat of battle.

"Slash!"

At this moment, Mihawk's black sword cut through Jhin's shoulder, leaving a bloody wound. His Armament Haki hadn't provided full protection.

Mihawk squinted, sensing that this strike had returned his opponent to their original state. Jhin now felt like a foe on the same level as Smoothie—formidable but not unbeatable. However, standing above Smoothie in the ranks, Jhin clearly had some unique strengths, perhaps connected to the flames behind him.

Jhin frowned at his injured shoulder, the flames on his back flaring up again. The wound quickly stopped bleeding and began to heal, thanks to his Ancient Zoan Devil Fruit abilities and his racial traits, giving him recovery powers rivaling Kaido's. The Zoan fruit allowed rapid healing, so even without the Lunarian boost, he could have stopped the bleeding quickly, though the effect wouldn’t have been as pronounced.

"I underestimated you. I thought you'd only last a few moves against me," Jhin said. "But you managed to wound me. However, this is where it ends. I have no desire to linger in Dressrosa for too long."

Jhin drew his massive katana. Initially, he had planned to finish the fight quickly without using his blade, but Mihawk's strength exceeded his expectations. He had underestimated the Shichibukai summoned by the Navy, who were clearly among the most powerful in the world, able to wound him when few could.

"Looks like you won't be leaving Dressrosa today," Mihawk smirked. "You'll be recovering here for a long time."

To claim the title of the world's greatest swordsman, one must use a sword. Mihawk had been waiting for this true battle of swordsmen. Only by defeating Jhin in swordsmanship could Mihawk feel truly fulfilled today. Many powerful challengers awaited him on the seas, but this was the battle that mattered.

"You don't have the strength to defeat me!" Jhin's flames spread, engulfing his katana. His entire body became a blazing inferno as he prepared to finish Mihawk.

"Flame Dragon King!" he roared as a massive fiery dragon burst forth, swirling in the air before taking the form of Kaido's Devil Fruit power. This resemblance shocked many onlookers, who realized Jhin was mimicking Kaido's techniques.

Mihawk's eyes narrowed as he prepared to face Jhin's full power. He gripped his black sword tightly, raising it behind his head. As the flaming dragon surged towards him, some spectators closed their eyes, expecting the end. They doubted Dressrosa’s barrier could withstand such a terrifying attack.

But death didn't come. In their astonished gazes, the man standing before the dragon remained immovable. Just as the flames were about to reach him, Mihawk’s black sword moved.

"Whoosh!"

In an instant, the sky over Dressrosa was torn apart, with the clouds above slashed open, revealing a massive gap. Around Mihawk, fierce lightning crackled as the enormous fire dragon froze in mid-air, unable to move. No one knew what had happened.

"Boom!"

The fire dragon split in two, and the audience gasped, jaws dropping in disbelief. Flames were cut in half and vanished into the air, absorbed by Uchiha's Fire Formation. Mihawk's strike continued, splitting the flames like they were avoiding his sword.

Finally, the green slash struck Jhin, who tried to block with his katana while furiously flapping his wings to push back Mihawk's attack. But the force of the strike was overwhelming.

"Bang!"

Jhin was sent flying into the barrier of Uchiha's Fire Formation. His flames burned, and he felt a stinging pain—an unfamiliar sensation from fire. It was also the first time he had been knocked back so violently by a slash.

How could Mihawk, once an ordinary swordsman, become so powerful now? Jhin's mind raced as he glared at Mihawk, who was smiling confidently. Damn it! Mihawk had used him as a stepping stone to climb higher.

"No way… you can't defeat me!" Jhin's eyes were bloodshot as he broke free from the Fire Formation, charging at Mihawk in his hybrid form, swinging his massive katana wildly.

"That name… Lunarian… it sounds familiar," Kizaru mused as he watched Mihawk slice through the flames. To him, the battle was already decided. Jhin had clearly lost to Mihawk, making the once-proud warrior nothing more than a stepping stone.

"Forgotten, have you? There was once a Lunarian captured by Vegapunk, but Kaido broke into our base and took the boy away after Vegapunk collected some samples," Zephyr said, watching the battle with interest. The Lunarian race was formidable, and if combined with the Uchiha's abilities, they could create a true monster. Training such a creature would be his greatest achievement.

Meanwhile, Garp burst into laughter. "So that’s the kid, huh? I never thought he'd grow so strong so quickly. It's surprising!"

Garp had no interest in involving himself in the World Government's affairs. He knew of Jhin but had no part in his capture. The Lunarians had once been known as a godlike race, but now Jhin was likely the last of his kind.

"It's a sad fate for a people once called gods," Zephyr sighed, though there was no pity in his eyes. The sea was ruthless, and many races had gone extinct. Kingdoms fell and rose every day. Survival of the fittest was the law of the sea.

As Zephyr thought of the new generation, he was more determined than ever to see what they would bring to this chaotic world.
