*Chapter 211: My Face on His Chest*

Tobirama Senju felt his consciousness gradually slipping away, as if his soul was being pulled by the man standing in front of him.

If nothing unexpected happened, in just a few more seconds, his soul would be completely extracted.

Although he didn't know what kind of jutsu the other party was using, Tobirama still had unresolved questions swirling in his mind.

"Uchiha brat, wait, I still have a few things to ask you."

Tobirama hurriedly spoke up.

The sudden appearance of this Uchiha gave Tobirama an unusual feeling. He was always one for detecting intrigue and conspiracy, and there was something off about this situation.

This war—Tsunade had mentioned the Uchiha Clan. Originally, this war had nothing to do with the Uchiha. They could have easily stayed out of it and benefited more by simply watching from the sidelines. But now, not only had they appeared, but they even wanted to claim their souls.

If he didn’t ask his questions now, he’d never have another chance.

"Hmm? Something else you want to ask? Do you want to know why I betrayed Konoha?"

Raijin looked at Tobirama as he spoke.

After all, from his perspective, Tobirama always viewed the Uchiha as evil. And now, with Konoha in ruins, he believed much of the blame lay with the Uchiha.

If Tobirama had any questions, they’d surely be about that.

Raijin felt a sense of boredom wash over him. He had no interest in explaining himself to this man.

Can't he avoid being so childish?

At their level, the "Will of Fire" held no sway over them. Only children and those with simple minds believed in that so-called "Will of Fire."

"This has nothing to do with me. I'm dead, after all. Besides, my brother said it himself: there's no one we know left in Konoha."

"Whether Konoha lives or dies is up to fate. We've done all we could."

"As for your Uchiha clan... Hmph! You Uchiha are always so treacherous!"

"I couldn’t care less if Konoha doesn’t want you anymore. You have your reasons. The Uchiha clan is none of my business."

Tobirama scoffed, finding Raijin’s words laughable.

Why did he have to deal with such foolish questions?

He knew exactly what state Konoha was in. Even the two founding families had left, which meant something was deeply rotten within Konoha, slowly eating away at its core.

There was no way Tobirama would ask something so foolish. That would be an insult to his reputation as the Second Hokage.

"I never thought you'd have such an opinion of the Uchiha. I always assumed you despised us the most."

"After all, you called me evil the moment we met. Compared to those in Konoha, I'd say I'm quite the decent person."

Raijin smirked, looking at Tobirama.

In comparison to the people of Konoha, he really was more straightforward.

The people of Konoha always feasted on the misfortune of others, while Raijin led various clans to prosperity, even helping them find new paths forward.

Under Raijin’s leadership, they now had a brighter future, and even their secret techniques had advanced.

Of course, not everyone saw it that way. Take Hyūga Hiashi, for example. Who knows how that guy is doing now? He’s probably being called "Dad" by Big Mom’s children at this point.

Suddenly gaining dozens of kids—Hiashi must be thrilled.

"Hmph! No point in talking! You were probably the one who led this war, weren't you?"

Tobirama sneered, ignoring Raijin's words and cutting straight to the point.

Even Mito Uzumaki turned her gaze toward them. She hadn't expected the Uchiha to be the ones pulling the strings behind this war. If that was true, this whole thing was aimed at destroying Konoha.

What about Kushina? What had become of her?

"Tobirama, you're wrong. I didn’t do anything."

"All I did was bring in clans that wanted to join me. As for the war, I have no interest in it."

"I now have a much larger stage. The ninja world doesn't interest me at the moment."

"If I had led this war, Konoha would already be destroyed."

"My goal isn't just to destroy Konoha. I want Konoha to see the Uchiha Clan thriving and regret everything."

Raijin smiled. He hadn’t expected Tobirama to ask that, but in truth, Raijin had nothing to do with this war. The Uchiha had been falsely accused.

Honestly, Konoha was no longer worth his time. If he wanted to destroy it, his current forces could easily do so. With Zephyr, Mihawk, and several of the Shichibukai on his side, Konoha had no one left to stop him, unless Hiruzen Sarutobi was willing to sacrifice himself.

But Raijin hadn’t done it. He didn’t have the energy to deal with Konoha right now. He had a new world to focus on—the pirate world, which was just beginning to unfold. His attention needed to be there.

Besides, the ninja world had become too unpredictable, far beyond his understanding. Raijin didn't dare linger here too long, let alone take over Konoha.

"Really not you?"

For the first time, a look of genuine surprise crossed Tobirama’s face.

He hadn’t expected that he’d misunderstood the Uchiha. He had thought they wanted to destroy and rebuild Konoha. But now it seemed that the Uchiha Clan had moved on, losing all interest in the Land of Fire.

"Since you don’t have any more questions, I’ll be taking your soul now."

Without further words, Raijin forcefully yanked Tobirama’s soul from his body.

The next moment, Tobirama’s body disintegrated into dust, revealing a Konoha ninja beneath him, contorted in agony. The expression on his face suggested a painful death, his final moments likely filled with endless screaming.

"Where are Kushina and Minato?"

As Raijin approached her, Mito Uzumaki broke her silence and asked directly.

She hadn't seen Kushina in this war. After all, Kushina was Konoha’s Nine-Tails Jinchuriki. With things this dire, Hiruzen Sarutobi surely wouldn’t have kept her sitting in the village. And yet, she was nowhere to be found, nor was Minato Namikaze, to whom she had once entrusted her hopes.

She couldn't believe she had misjudged Minato. He was a genius, destined to become a great ninja in Konoha, perhaps even another Hokage.

But in this war, neither Minato nor Kushina had appeared.

"Those two? They’ve been dead for years. Six years ago, when the Nine-Tails was released, they died."

"But don’t despair. I’ll reunite you all soon enough. After all, your Uzumaki clan’s sealing techniques are still quite useful to me."

"Your soul, along with Kushina Uzumaki and Minato Namikaze's souls, will all be gathered together," Raijin said with a sly smile.

He couldn't believe that even at this moment, she was still concerned about Kushina. But unfortunately, worrying about a dead person was meaningless.

"..."

Mito Uzumaki was momentarily stunned. She hadn't expected that even Kushina had passed away. At this moment, Mito suddenly grasped the underlying meaning in Raijin's words.

"You want to use Edo Tensei on Kushina too?" Mito glared at Raijin sternly, shocked by the ruthlessness of this Uchiha youth. Even though they were already dead, he still wouldn't let them go.

"Matters like these are not for the dead to concern themselves with!" Raijin responded coldly, plunging his hand directly into Mito Uzumaki’s chest, piercing through her Edo Tensei-revived body. In the next moment, Mito could feel her soul being forcibly pulled out. Raijin's Mangekyō Sharingan would be its next destination.

At that moment, Mito realized that this young man had awakened a dōjutsu related to souls. She tried to struggle, but her Edo Tensei body could only exert about 30% of her original strength. Against Raijin, any resistance was futile as he effortlessly tore her soul from her body.

"Raijin, are you done? Red-Haired Shanks is here," Kakashi suddenly appeared by Raijin's side, glancing at the two corpses lying at his feet. Even though one of them was a former Hokage of Konoha, Kakashi remained indifferent.

"It's done. Leave the rest to Orochimaru for the Edo Tensei checkup." Raijin nodded and, together with Kakashi, twisted his body with Kamui, vanishing from the battlefield.

Tsunade glanced back at where Tobirama had stood moments ago. Now, two corpses lay under a covering of dust, while Tobirama's whereabouts were unknown. Just moments ago, she had sensed a familiar aura, but being locked in combat with King, she hadn’t had time to investigate. Now, seeing what had happened, she realized the situation had been stolen right from under her nose.

"Uchiha..." Tsunade muttered with a mix of shock and fury. The only person who could have pulled off such a move right under her nose was Uchiha Raijin. She couldn’t think of anyone else who had that kind of ability. Raijin had been there the whole time, merely watching the battle unfold.

"What Uchiha?" Hashirama Senju approached Tsunade, confused by her sudden mention of the Uchiha. Following her gaze, he saw the two corpses covered in dust and immediately understood.

Hashirama didn’t react much, merely letting out a sigh. After all, the situation had deteriorated to this point, and anger was no longer a luxury he could afford. Even if he were angry, he wouldn't know what to be angry about.

"Fire Dragon Emperor!" King shouted, seizing the moment as Tsunade and Hashirama were momentarily distracted. With a swing of his sword, a massive fire dragon burst forth, coalescing into the shape of a dragon in the air, resembling Kaido’s Azure Dragon form in its sheer size and power.

In the blink of an eye, the fire dragon engulfed Tsunade while she was defenseless.

"Tsunade!" Hashirama shouted, concerned. The raging inferno was too intense even for his Edo Tensei-revived body to endure. What about Tsunade?

"I'm fine!" Tsunade’s voice suddenly emerged from somewhere. As the flames gradually dissipated, Hashirama noticed a small green sprout breaking through the soil, growing rapidly. In moments, it expanded several times over.

In no time at all, the sprout grew into a full-fledged form, and Tsunade's figure emerged, entwined with the plant.

"What kind of Wood Release is that?" Hashirama asked in astonishment, clearly taken aback by the sight. Was this really Wood Release? He’d never seen anything like it. Whose Wood Release was the knockoff here? He couldn’t help but feel a bit inferior to Tsunade’s.

"As long as I stand on the ground, I am immortal." Tsunade’s face remained calm as she clasped her hands together. Chakra surged through her body as the fusion of Wood Release and her Mori Mori fruit powers took hold.

In the next moment, a massive wooden golem erupted from the ground, and Tsunade fused with the giant’s core.

"Wood Golem Jutsu!"

The wooden golem’s eyes glowed with a crimson light as it charged toward King with immense force. Tsunade could sense that this golem was more than enough for now.

King's pupils shrank under his helmet. He hadn’t expected Tsunade to use such a powerful technique. Without hesitation, he transformed into his Pteranodon form and soared into the sky, dodging the golem’s attacks.

"Wood Dragon Jutsu!" Tsunade shouted.

Two wood dragons split from the golem, coiling around its arms. In an instant, before King could react, the wood dragons shot forth like serpents, coiling around King and dragging him back to the ground.

Boom!

King's enormous body crashed into the ground. Before he could regain his composure, a mountainous fist descended upon him, shaking the earth.

Hashirama’s face lit up with excitement. Tsunade's mastery over the Wood Release had surpassed his own. At the very least, he couldn’t control the Wood Dragon as skillfully as she could.

"He's not dead yet!" Tsunade’s voice came from the wooden golem, her tone serious. In the crater, King slowly stood up, his clothing tattered, and even his helmet was shattered, revealing his face.

But most notably, King's bare chest now revealed a startling detail. The image of Hashirama’s face was tattooed on King’s chest, so lifelike that it resembled Hashirama in the flesh.

At that moment, even Hashirama was taken aback. He hadn't expected this man to have his face tattooed on his chest. The feeling sent chills down his spine.

What a bizarre situation!

Hashirama shuddered at the thought.
