Chapter 15: Shadow Clone Practice

The next day, the weekend was over, and Natsuwari's Shadow Clone came to school. As usual, he walked towards his seat. He was a bit of a wallflower in class, sitting next to Naruto Uzumaki, and usually no one would approach him.

Natsuwari was happy with this. Every day, he silently absorbed all kinds of knowledge. He hadn't finished reading all the textbooks taught in school yet. After finishing them, he would go to Iruka-sensei to ask for some other books to read.

As a ninja teacher, Iruka should know a lot of books useful for ninjas. Although they weren't part of the teaching content, they must exist.

"Natsuwari, good morning!"

However, at this moment, a shout reached Natsuwari's ears, making him stop. He turned his head and saw Ino waving at him with a smile.

"Good morning, Ino." Natsuwari nodded at Ino and also smiled. Even though he was happy being a wallflower, it felt good to be cared for.

The people around them were a little surprised. When did these two become so close? But although they were surprised, they didn't do anything unnecessary.

Natsuwari walked to his seat and sat down. He looked at the empty seat next to him and sighed. Actually, Naruto Uzumaki would probably greet him too.

But, here came the problem. A guy who was often late, could Natsuwari expect him to arrive earlier than himself? So usually, he and Naruto Uzumaki were the opposite.

As expected, Naruto Uzumaki arrived just in time today. Seeing him panting, he probably woke up late again.

"Morning." Natsuwari flipped through the book and said without looking up after Naruto sat down. It wasn't that he didn't want to look up, but this was better for now.

"Morning!" Naruto seemed very happy. After all, very few people treated him like this. Actually, he also wanted to get closer to Natsuwari, but every day, seeing him studying so seriously, he didn't want to disturb him with his own trivial matters.

Soon, today's class began. Natsuwari had already learned the teacher's progress on his own, but he still spared some attention to listen.

Sometimes, when he heard an understanding different from his own, he would shift his attention from his book. If he heard a better insight, he would also carefully note it down.

This was the inevitable growth on the path to becoming stronger. Although he knew the original work and understood many high-level ninjutsu, those were all castles in the air for Natsuwari at the moment.

What Natsuwari was doing now was filling in the foundation for this castle in the air. One day, when the foundation was complete, it would bring him unimaginable gains.

Today's class soon ended, and it was time for extracurricular activities. Iruka usually supervised the extracurricular activities. At this time, Natsuwari also closed his book and got up from his seat.

Naruto Uzumaki next to him also followed, but this time, Natsuwari's route seemed a bit different.

"Natsuwari, where are you going? The extracurricular activities are over there." Naruto, who was following, was a little confused.

"I'm going to the bathroom. You go ahead first." Natsuwari replied, feeling a bit of a headache. If Naruto kept following him, how could he switch with his original body? He had to at least find a place where no one was around before he could dispel the Shadow Clone.

"Oh, okay." Naruto scratched his head and agreed, making Natsuwari relieved.

Finally, Natsuwari reached the bathroom. After checking that there was no one else around, he dispelled the Shadow Clone, which turned into a puff of white smoke and disappeared.

Soon, Natsuwari's original body easily found a hidden spot and flipped into the school. He was feeling pretty good at the moment.

As expected, practice was the only criterion for testing truth. The Shadow Clone's duration even had some time left. Natsuwari originally wanted to come earlier, but then he smelled the sweat on himself and had to rush back home to wash up before coming over.

Now, Natsuwari also received all the gains of the Shadow Clone today. He also saw Ino from its memories and noticed the feeling the Shadow Clone had when being greeted. If the Shadow Clone felt that way, the original body naturally wouldn't be an exception. Essentially, they were the same person.

Natsuwari walked towards the extracurricular activity area with a happy mood. The Shadow Clone experiment was a great success.

As for Ino, Natsuwari didn't have any particular thoughts, at least not now. After all, he had the soul of a twenty-something-year-old. Looking at the six-year-old Ino, he really felt like he was looking at a child. How could he have any other thoughts?

Moreover, in his past life, he was a player of a certain game. He had no interest in lolis at all.

As for whether Natsuwari's already trained body could handle the extracurricular activities, he said that the intensity of the extracurricular activities was basically like a rest for him, so there was absolutely no problem.

"Natsuwari, you're finally back. Why did it take so long?" Naruto said when he saw Natsuwari return.

"Well, I had a bit of a stomachache." Natsuwari looked away. How could he tell the truth? The handover would become faster once he got more practice.

"If you're not feeling well, you should rest more." Suddenly, Ino appeared from the side.

"Yes, I know." Natsuwari nodded.

"Good to know." Ino nodded in satisfaction. Then, seeing her little group calling her over, she ran towards them.

Naruto Uzumaki looked at Natsuwari with some envy at this moment.

"Don't envy me. Actually, there are quite a few people in this class who don't have any ill will towards you. You just haven't interacted with them." Natsuwari looked at the other members of the Konoha 12 and said.

"Is that so?" Naruto scratched his head and looked at the classmates around him. Even though Natsuwari said so, he still wasn't very confident.

Natsuwari sighed. Actually, it was just that they didn't have any ill will. It was very likely that their parents had told them to try not to interact too much with Naruto. After all, they understood the situation.

If it were Natsuwari, would he let his child interact with Naruto without knowing the plot?

The answer was self-evident. It was understandable.

However, Natsuwari saw a lazy figure and, after thinking for a moment, said, "Like that guy, for example."

"Him? He seems to always sleep in class." Naruto also saw the person. They were sitting relatively close, so he had noticed him.

"Yes, you can try interacting with him." Natsuwari nodded. Shikamaru, because his brain was too useful, saw many things very clearly.

So Shikamaru wouldn't have any special opinions about Naruto. But with his lazy personality, he probably wouldn't bother to cause trouble either. Naruto would have to take the initiative.

Natsuwari vaguely remembered that Shikamaru was also a frequent member of the "standing in the corner" group because of sleeping in class in the original work, and his relationship with Naruto had always been good. It was just that Naruto himself hadn't noticed.

And as long as he interacted with Shikamaru, Choji wouldn't be a problem either. In fact, Choji would be even easier. Sasuke was a bit troublesome. Shino was too introverted, but it would be fine as long as he was willing to interact. Kiba was also okay.

So, as long as Naruto Uzumaki chose the right target, it would be quite easy.

As for Natsuwari himself, well, what would he, a socially anxious person, do with so many friends?

After giving Naruto some pointers, Natsuwari also started his own business. Although extracurricular activities were for rest, there were still things he could do during the break. Time was too precious to be wasted easily.
