2023-11-03 17:15:10 +0000 UTCAs an honorable mention, I have to include Eddie vs Akiyama on the preshow of Full Gear 2022 (I was there). Yeah, it's not the greatest match I've ever seen, but Eddie living out his dream by wrestling Jun Akiyama...and the entire crowd screaming the three count, and then when it finished, I will not forget for a long time Eddie tearing up in the ring as everyone cheered for him and chanted his name... And then he proceeded to sell the PPV better in five minutes than TK/Excalibur had in weeks.
