King’s Gaze

Prompt : Tyrant - Cyclops

King’s Gaze is a massive hammer crafted from the petrified remains of The One-Eyed Tyrant. The One-Eyed Tyrant was a primordial giant whose name is mentioned in the legend of the creation of the Whitespine mountain. It is said that millions of years ago the East Continent still consisted of two smaller continents separated by a massive strait. One of them was ruled by a ruthless primordial giant king who treated the inhabitants as no more than insects. One day a young blacksmith played to the giant king’s vanity and challenged him to show his strength. The One-Eyed Tyrant, prideful and drunk on praise, conjured a magical chain and pulled the two continents together, but, underestimating the consequences of this feat, he ended up getting buried in between them. While the king struggled to get out, the blacksmith used the king’s own magical chain to bind the giant to the mountain, trapping him and ending his life. King’s Gaze is said to have been created by that very blacksmith who harvested the giant remains to create the massive hammer and become the first king of the Whitespine mountain range.

King’s Gaze is still imbued with the Tyrant’s enormous strength and magical power. Those who wield the hammer gain a portion of its strength, a powerful presence able to force anyone before them to fall to their knees, and the ability to control earth and rock at will. At the same time, the essence of the giant inside the hammer will slowly corrupt its wielder with the tyrant’s ego, pride, and vanity.

While waiting for the character pages (I'm currently transcribing the text). I present to you another item from the vault, but this time it's based on your suggested and voted prompt, Tyrant (plus Cyclops). Also, I tried to make a stats card for D&D 5e, as you might be able to tell, I'm still learning. But let me know what you think.

EDIT: Based on suggestions and input from some of you, I've made some revisions on the item ability. I've also uploaded the new stats and the new PSD for the stats in the folder I sent out for April rewards. Thank you so much for the help~ :D
