Spectral Silverwares

Weapon (any), legendary (requires attunement)

Spectral Silverware is the name given to several silverware and cutlery which was discovered to be haunted by the spirit of The 7 Chromatic Knights of Jis’ka. The principality of Jis’ka was one of 4 countries that ruled over the Argosa Forest, Drizzle Plains, and Northern Tundra but then fell into the grasp of The Children of One during the early rising of The Chaos Insurgency. It is suspected that these silverwares were crafted from fragments of weapons scavenged from the Drizzle Plains, where those 7 legendary protectors of Jis’ka died. Their powerful spirits seem to attach themself to each object, some of them not only still able to manifest the original weapon form and abilities, but also retain their consciousness and sentience

While holding the silverware or cutlery, you can use a bonus action to manifest a spectral weapon from it. When you attack with this weapon, it deals necrotic damage instead of its normal damage type, draining vitality from your foes. On a hit, it deals an additional 2d6 psychic damage, and the weapon grants a bonus to attack and damage rolls equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded down). You may use your Wisdom or Charisma modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, for the attack and damage rolls with this weapon.

Spectral Manifestation: Once per long rest, you can cast Spiritual Weapon at a spell level equal to your proficiency bonus. The summoned weapon appears as the spectral image of the Chromatic Knight who once wielded it and gains the following additional effect: when the Spiritual Weapon hits a creature, the specter releases a haunting wail. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom or Charisma modifier) or become frightened of the spectral weapon until the end of its next turn.

Each Spectral Silverware is associated with one of the Seven Chromatic Knights, granting it a unique ability reflecting the knight’s prowess. Each of the Chromatic Knights is a sentient spirit with unique personality traits and wisdom honed through a life of service and battle. These spirits retain memories, qualities, as well as  a lingering regret from their mortal life, which subtly influences their personality and interactions.
