Florida Update!

We are so excited to share with you all that our building permit for Save a Fox South was finally approved late last month and yesterday, Robyn and her husband Jeff from Fox Tales Florida came down to help, along with a host of volunteers, came to Groveland and helped us put up the frame of our very first enclosure!

As you all know, between the pandemic and initial zoning problems because of nuisance neighbours, our second location has been an extreme labour of love!

We were so grateful to Robyn and Jeff too - the dirt is so soft in this part of Florida that it’s almost sand like, they are used to working with it at their property and kindly have let us use the same design for our enclosures as they do for theirs.

This building weekend will also allow volunteers to get comfortable with how to raise each enclosure and allow them to continue work when Mik and Ethan return to Minnesota on Tuesday.
