****EDIT*** ice and snow fell from our barn roof, collapsing the fence and hitting Tonia. That was what killed her. The roof itself did not collapse***
I'm really sad to announce the passing of #Toniafox tonight.
π
She was my very first fur-farm rescue fox. My first rescue fur-farm pup I bottle raised and kept.
The only fox left here, that I had bottle raised.
She was only 10 days old when I brought her home.
Tonight part of our barn fell on the fence and collapsed the fence....killing Tonia π₯
We are all at a loss. Tonia had many friends; foxes and people. She will be missed by many.
Tonia loved getting her picture taken, posing for the camera, showing her dominance to all the other foxes. She loved pup season and helping care for the new rescue pups. She really was the biggest brat of foxes here. My family and friends joke about it saying she turned out that way because I'm a brat and I spoiled her to much ππ I'm really going to miss having her attitude around.
She was the Alpha fox of her fox yard; the one in charge. I'm really not sure how the other foxes will do now that she isn't here.
All photos and videos of Tonia can be found under her hashtag #Toniafox and in her photo album on Facebook page Saveafox Rescue
Rest in Peace Tonia.
You're bestie #farrahfoxett is waiting to play with you
