I wanted to provide a varied game experience where the nuances grew more distinct as the game progressed. It's not always easy to do because there do have to be merging points in the story. I know some people wish there was one path that had EVERYTHING, but I think the trade-offs makes the choices more compelling. Or, at least, that's my hope. Thanks for commenting! Glad to see you're still kicking around :)

He's easily one of the most compelling romance options so far. Just a genuinely nice guy who also still actually has some stuff in common with Dan/ny/ni/i. Overall, I think it's interesting how things balance out in the story. In the restaurant path you get a much better job that seems bring Dan/ny/ni/i much more satisfaction satisfaction, there's the live reading and a couple compelling romance options (Val and Arthur stand out) but in the store path you seem to develop an actual sincere friendship (which seems sorely lacking in the restaurant path) and while there's still good romance options (the kickball crew, (Justine?)) you also have to deal with the Sails which is simply A LOT. There's real trade-offs. One gets a little more girly in a proper upscale sort of way and the other seems to actually start enjoy being a little bit slutty. One gets into great physical shape, the other just coasts by on what they've got, or actually learns to play a sport. One meets their hero the other is embarrassed in front of them. This stuff is pretty rad.
