Added 2024-04-22 19:11:34 +0000 UTCI'm having some issues with trying to create a fake language, because of inconsistencies I'm picking up. Its kinda frustrating and I'm starting to feel like I should just go with whatever... but also no. I dunno this is just me venting because I'm having to go back and fixing vocab words and realizing that some nouns are verbs and so on. wljkladjflajfdalskfj lol
Example: established Yuon as meaning Moon but then goes to translate it to tae and other shit and I'm like roar. Being that nouns end with an A or O but its being translated to end with an L I'm just blargh. I was taken things for granted because it was easier to translate then double check it all but my bad I guess.

Tom Scott has some excellent videos about linguistics that might serve as inspiration for creating a fake language. There are also some video essays I've seen about how Tolkien created the elven language for LotR that could be worth checking out
