Feel the Buzz
Added 2021-06-13 13:40:38 +0000 UTCThis idea comes courtesy of a sexy roleplay I did on Discord with a playpartner of a couple of years. The idea is, essentially, that these little bee-shaped vibrators latch on to you and over time turn you into another drone for the hive.
What is this hive? What does it do? What does it eat?
I have no clue.
But their outfits are impractical and sexy, and with Power Ranger helmets, of course.
This drawing was done entirely on ClipStudioPaint, a new program I know will open up many avenues for me to make, specially comics, that is, once I master it. So I apologize for the wonky text - still figuring out the softwar!
But, to make up for that, here's some of the process:
This is not the first sketch, but the closest to the line art. It took me a little wiggling to get the pose right without it looking too realistic and complicated. For me, the struggle is to simplify when I am drawing from reference.
Of course I am going to colour the sexy bee lady in yellows.
But at the same time I wanted to avoid black lines, which made it a little difficult to figure out the darker elements of the outfit. In the end I got there.
