WEEKLY POST - April 20th 2025 - Background week!

This week, I'm happy to report that I've been able to make some nice things which I can easily show you guys! Let's begin!
Introduction cutscene:
In the above video, you'll see an animation which will be the first thing that is displayed in-game after the Gobbo Games splash-screen, featuring a close-up of Johan and the mixing of the canister of serum.
You'll notice the white sticker, which I will fill-out with the Serum's name. That name is to be decided by Hobz & Gobz in this week's poll!
Updated lab background:
I've also finished a bunch of improvements to the background of the lab from a few weeks ago. Below, you can see the before/after:
If you can decipher it, some of things written on the whiteboard are actually not totally meaningless, although I'm no biologist.
Reception hallway:
Below, you can also see the scene where we'll meet the security lady, Laura Martin. This one features a screen which players won't get to see in-game, as it will display a cycle of several corporate taglines (see in the video at the top of the post).

And of course, I also had to make the building where the lab is located, featuring made-up brands like Zenith Venture and Prism Capital, in both day and sundown versions:
Wait but what about Laura?
The outcome of the poll aiming at deciding Laura's design has surprisingly landed on a bit of a stalemate between Option B and Option C, and with Option A not that far off either.
This leads me the exciting 'Option D', where I get to make a mix of the other options, like a brown-haired girl with blonde highlights, sunglasses, short ponytail and jacket.

Next week, I will work both on Laura's final design AND I intend on making an NSFW FMG sequence featuring her! Stay tuned for that, fellow Hobz & Gobz! I sure am looking forward to making it!
