POLL - Laura Martin

Surprise new character:

Hey guys!
So, for a long while, I wanted the lab to have a female security person, I might've mentioned that in one of my earliest weekly post.
For her, I've settled on the name Laura Martin.

The plan was for that character to not be in the Prologue. Then, last week, I started to think "I could just release some stills of her as photos Johan would show to Alex".

Now, however, I'm starting to think that I have to include a segment in the prologue, as Alex leaves the lab, where he encounters Laura, triggering a conversation sequence.

This means that I would have to make another animated sprite, and it would be another bit of delay as I work on it, but eh, I think it's worth it, long-term, as it means more content in the prologue, and it's a character sprite that I would've done eventually anyway for Chapter 2.

Who is Laura?

So, as I mentioned, Laura Martin deals with the reception hall at the lab.

• She's super nice with everybody, a very welcoming person.
• She handles the reception of deliveries, she sees lab-workers in and out, patrols around...
• She happens to be in a relationship with Johan and may or may not be his girlfriend.
• She tested some early less-potent version of the serum, making her sliiiightly toned.
• She may or may not 'facilitate' Johan in getting things he needs for his projects. The end justifies the means!

Design options:

No redhead this time!
My first thought with Option A was a brunette, and I later darkened her haircolor to contrast with Option C. I like the short ponytail hairstyle and hairbun options as I think it fits better than Option C's braid in a corporate lab environment.

With Option B, I've recycled the idea of the blonde hairbun that I liked from designs for Elise Dubois, and as a side-bonus, it matches well with Johan's. That would make them a fun twin-couple.
I also thought of Winry Rockbell and thought she'd look nice with little piercings.

You will also notice Option C, which is definitely NOT inspired by a popular female british adventurer who plunders burial sites and temples with heavy weaponry. How would you even dare to think I did such a thing.

Those are work-in-progress designs and I will rework them a lot before animation.

I wish I could make several polls in one post. I'm not gonna make multiple choice polls every time, but I would like to know what you guys think of the accessories. Do let me know if you have ideas I could incorporate.
For example, I do like those tinted glasses / sunglasses and the little vest from Option B. Those might stay in the final design eitherway. I will also look into giving her an alternate hand with a taser, stuff like that.
