2024-05-17 04:48:58 +0000 UTCI LOVED this movie ๐๐ it was so much fun, it was really the only one in the Monsterverse where I've cared about the human storyline, and it was sooooo pretty in theaters ๐๐ I do think these Godzilla/Kong movies have a habit of heavily favoring Kong's storyline over Godzilla's, but like I get it, he's an ape, closer to human and therefore easier to write relatably than Godzilla. But goddamn do I want more of my big lizard puppy and his Moth Queen ๐๐๐ ๐๐ FUN THING!!!!! Did you know that the guy that plays Trapper in this ALSO plays 'Frank' in Abigail!?!?!? We watched Abigail after GxK and when I found that out I was FLOORED, like he is a PHENOMENAL actor for pulling off two DRAMATICALLY different character types in such a short time frame of each other, full kudos!!! Loved yalls reaction, I recorded some of my favorite parts to send to my husband while he's at work tonight ๐คฃ๐ฅฐ I can't remember if yall posted saying you were doing this, but it was such a pleasant surprise for me to get a notification for haha. You two always make my night ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐
