I really wish there were more x reader slow burn fanfics where y/n is just an incredibly forward and flirtatious loser and Ushijima is just NOT picking up on it at ALL. This is the only dynamic I'm interested in when it comes to Ushi fanfics. I love opposites attract sm 😭 I'm also probably just tired of overly innocent y/n please give homegirl an edible, make y/n WEIRD!



Imagine flirting with him but he just sort of stares at you all suspicious with his rbf trying to figure out what you're talking about. Pick up lines on Ushijima but he just takes it 100% literal. Taking this opportunity to talk about x reader fanfics since we're somewhat on the subject because I'm so passionate about this topic. (Literally have not read one in forever because my standards are so high 😭💔but I used to spend a CRAAAZY amount of time on Ao3 in 2020-2021 reading x readers) More so, Y/N. How do you guys feel about authors giving y/n a backstory and family and stuff? I personally love it and cannot read a fic without extensive lore on why this character is the way they are, but I've also heard a lot of people say they hate it because it feels more like an OC/ doesn't feel like them, so im curious how you guys feel about it! I love to see y/n written as somebody I'm nothing like, it's sort of eye opening, I read one that felt like I was living life through my friends perspective, SICK to my stomach but couldn't stop reading for that reason alone.
