Update - Writer's Block Sucks

So, you might be wondering where the updates for this month are. I'm still pretty new at this whole writing thing and doing it as a hobby which means I'm not quite as practiced at being able to just push through the writers block and make sure there's something, anything, ready to post as the likes of Corrupting Power. But being new also means I'm insanely grateful to all of you following me and it's really important to me that I feel like if I'm not delivering I'm keeping you updated and not taking the piss.

This is the first time I've hit a wall like this and while I've got bits and pieces done so far this month it's not at the standard where I want to share things yet. If you've been following Upstart's Knight you'll be able to understand why I'm keen to make sure I get to the next part of that soon, but also why it's in a place where I make sure what I do is right. The progression of things with Aoife has ended up being the core of the story and I frankly don't trust the other QT writers to not come for me if I don't deliver with what I have planned, let alone you readers :)

I expect I might have something for you for one of my stories by the end of the month, but probably not the back to back hit of QT:UK and Picture Perfect that I've been able to give you. I might even try and shake the cobwebs out by seeing if chapter 2 of Void Queen's Cradle grabs my inspiration a little more. Regardless if I'm not delivering what I promised, I'm not going to take your money for it. What I'm planning to do is suspend taking payment from you all at the start of February and give you what I think you're owed over the course of the two months. And then when I go back to billing I'm going to look at taking payment on the 1st of the month like most other creators seem to.

It might be that I end up suspending things in March too, since I'm planning to travel and see my sister who lives in Japan that month, but we'll see if I manage to get ahead of myself enough before then and I'll keep you posted.

Thanks so much for your support on here and following what I've been writing. I feel bad for leaving you on a cliffhanger with QT:UK but I'm going to make sure you get to see how that shakes out ahead of everyone, and hopefully in the next week or two.

Finally, I forgot to mention at the start of the month but I've been doing some work for Corrupting Power to make sure that QT has it's own website to act as a single central location for all the stories being told in that universe.
