Hey everyone, here's what's up!

Hi! It may surprise you, but I'm still alive! I am so glad to see so many of you decided to stick around! From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

You all no doubt have noticed that updates have been thin around here lately, and the reason for that is that I simply couldn't make a living as a full time artist. While I loved what I did, life every day was a struggle, and even on good months I only barely managed to make ends meet. So, in the end I swallowed my pride and went back to school.

While this has been great for my living situation, the flip side is that a lot less comics have been made! I think this break has been good for me though, and I'm feeling somewhat recharged and perhaps ready to get back to things. However, some things are gonna change, and here's what you should know!

1) First, the currently running Valerie comic will finish. It's fairly close to the end anyways, we only have about 5 pages or so left until it's a wrap.

2) After that, I will be unrolling changes to this Patreon! Some details still need to be ironed out, but the bottom line is that I will be taking full creative control over what gets made, and I'll also be revamping the tiers and rewards, in hopes of revitalizing this place.

3) I am still a full time student, so I doubt updates will be as frequent as they once were, but I'm hoping to get back to at least 1-2 pages a month. I also believe comic quality will benefit from this more realistic schedule, especially in things such as writing and paneling.

So there we go, that's my 3-pronged attack plan for the future! Thank you to all of you who decided to stick around, as well as the new ones who decided to sign up since!
