Kobold Hollow is located just a brisk walk away from the village, in a muggy peat bog harvested for fuel used during harsh winters.
It has always been home to a small clan of mischievous kobolds, content with raiding the village trash heaps in search for valuable trinkets and food scraps.
Recently, they found there a mysterious shiny black bauble, carelessly discarded by some passing adventurer. The kobolds quickly carried it to their lair deep beneath the Hollow... "
I love Kobolds in all shapes and forms. I think it might be because they remind me of mini-Draconians from the Dragonlance campaign setting. ah...fond memories. Kobold Hollow is a bit of a dark outing, and features a poor kobold tribe under the influence of the dark faerie Lady Astere, a recurring villain in my solo games.
Personally, I found this particular randomization result quite creepy:
