I haven't shared much about how this set was created, but it has been quite a journey. You might notice the clear improvement in quality compared to my earlier work, especially with details like the face, clothing, and fingers. When you see the images, it's obvious that the character is EVE, closely matching her look from the gameplay, though still not as perfect as her cinematic appearance.

In previous sets, I often had trouble maintaining consistent faces throughout the images because I had to stop using the LoRA model during the upscaling step to avoid ruining the images. For this set, I addressed this by training three different LoRA models: one for the HD sampling, one for the final 4K rendering, and one for an older platform that I ended up not using.

Training these models was challenging because initially, the screenshot quality wasn't high enough. Last year, my attempts at training these models didn't work well due to these limitations. Those who've followed my work for a while will probably see a significant improvement in this set, partly because I upgraded my source material. To do this, I bought a PS5 Pro, replayed the entire game, and captured many high-quality screenshots.

However, even these improved screenshots weren't sufficient. I then used the Dreamshaper XL model to enhance these images further, creating AI-enhanced screenshots that I've shared before, an image to image generation process. These enhanced images have incredibly realistic details while staying true to the original game visuals. Although these graphics surpass what current GPUs can render in real-time, they're ideal for still images.

Using this enhanced dataset, the resulting images were impressive. AI often produces flawed images with distorted limbs and odd poses. I sorted through many of these flawed outputs to find the good ones you now see. The yield rate of generating characters without misformed bodies is around 25%, you can imagine how many creepy creatures I've seen during the last two years.

My workflow involves creating lower-resolution drafts to quickly test various AI-generated results and then selecting the best ones to render in higher quality. For this set, the HD sampling was done at 2K resolution with 40 drawing steps, significantly more detailed than my previous sets, which were at 1K resolution with only 15-20 steps. This required much more computing power.

The Pony series Stable Diffusion XL model was particularly helpful, solving issues with fingers and backgrounds that previous models couldn't handle well. Before using Pony, about 75% of images had to be discarded due to these problems. Now, I discard significantly fewer images.

However, Pony has its own limitations, particularly with accurately capturing faces. This is evident in the preview images where the face doesn't exactly match EVE. To overcome this, I used the Dreamshaper XL model for the final 4K rendering stage to ensure accurate and realistic faces.

A useful detail about the 4K rendering process: it involves an image-to-image technique where pixels are partially erased with noise, scaled up, and then regenerated. Managing these parameters carefully was crucial for achieving the final image quality.

With all that said, I’m pleased to present EVE's YoRHA Unofficial Ceremonial Uniform set, but a little thinner and sheer that you can see her covered nipples, navel piercing and camel toe. Previous SD 1.5 or SDXL models does not natively support these sexy and fun elements, Pony got them covered. Lot's of interesting content can be generated now, I'll see what I can do in the future.
