Shadar-kai 1.1 Update (Fantastical Multiverse)
Added 2023-09-27 04:17:36 +0000 UTCThe Shadar-kai are now officially ready for Update 1.1 of Fantastical Multiverse that is coming. To start they will no longer be a subrace of Elf, following the RAW MotM changes fully. The Blessing of Raven Queen teleport skill has been named Shadowfell Step to fit the way Fey Step(Eladrin), Misty Step, and Starlight Step(Astral Elf). This change was just for Flavor but the passive is still named Blessing of the Raven Queen. Everything else remains true to Mordenkainen Presents: Monster of the Multiverse.
The resource they use to use Shadowfell Step is called Aptitude, it scales with your proficiency bonus. Rather than just calling it Prof Bonus or Trait. To me, this is a better-sounding name for the resource. In the 1.2 update, I will be making icons for the resources. Any race that has a trait that scales with Prof Bonus will utilize the Aptitude resource.

- Improved animation for Shadowfell Step so that it looks like you're lower to the ground with the aim to make the teleport seem like you're moving with the shadows on the ground.
- Made sure all correct Tags are now applied to the race.
- Cleaned and improved Icons for the race abilities and passives.
- Polished up Skin, Eye options for the race to fit the gloomy features of the Shadar-kai

75% certain it will be corrupted or you'll just become a High Elf since that is the first Elf Subrace.
