First Look at the Sonic Mania Review
Added 2018-06-28 01:31:15 +0000 UTCRendered this out to get a feel for how everything is coming together in the first two and a half minutes, as the preview window in Sony Vegas can stutter with all the effects and layers.
I'm not super happy with the timing of some of these segments, so that's going to have to be reworked. I'm also baffled why the Knuckles clip at the end of this preview dropped so many frames; I'll probably try and find another part in the same video that captured a little smoother.
I'd wanted to have this done weeks ago, and ideally I at least wanted it done before July, but just that segment at the end with all the headshots took me 30-60 minutes to put together, between finding photos, cropping them, importing everything, positioning everything, keyframing the animation...
Hopefully once I get past the intro and don't need so many layers and motion graphics, editing the review will speed up.
