First anime i ever watched was Soul Eater, kinda ecci in some parts in the start but pretty cool/interesting throughout. Manga goes hard for that tho. Plus it has a little twin peaks reference which is cool.

It might be that after a while Requiem returns to the normal stand because we saw the arrow wasn't in it's body anymore at the end. Thus Giorno would have to stáb his stand again to use GER again. But that too is just a theory. We just simply doesn't have enough information about it.
