2024-04-26 22:58:21 +0000 UTCWhen Luz makes that comment about not having twenty adventures to focus on having a fun beach day, that was a jab at Disney from the shows crew for making the short-sighted decision to shorten the third and final season from twenty regular length episodes to three double length “special”. Granted everyone who worked on the show did an amazing job giving the series a finale worthy of it’s greatness in the little time they were given, but we will always wonder how season three would have fared had they had more time to flesh things out.

2024-04-26 22:05:51 +0000 UTCThe conflict between Luz and Eda is always heart-wrenching, as Luz just wants her mentor/second mother figure to recognise just how much of a strong and capable witch she has become, and even though Eda knows how incredibly far her student/surrogate daughter has come, she just wants to keep her safe. King’s journey of self-discovery with Steve the GOAT was also pretty moving, with the little titan realising that he’s moved past wanting to be feared and worshiped, and just desires to live peacefully with his loved ones.
