I find it funny that in the sub, Blackbeard says it is up to God whether we live or die. But in the dub he says "It ain't up to us whether we live or die. Fearing death is the fastest way to lose" so in a way, Alicia agrees with Dub Blackbeard more than Sub Blackbeard

And as much as I want to hate Blackbeard... I just don't right now. He's done horrible things to characters I care about and I'm sure they've hinted at being a major obstacle for the Straw Hats well into the future... but even as an antagonist I just vibe with his "c'est la vie" attitude.

Of course I would like her to continue uploading content (One Piece and other stuff on YT/Patreon), BUT if I as a subscriber can enforce her to take a legitimate and well-deserved break from "work" (by making the counter hits 0 and getting entertained in the process), I will do so.

2024-06-28 19:45:06 +0000 UTCjoining in on the spoiler talk, so don't read, unless you caught up to the current manga chapter (1118) @lewd angel well, we it was already mentioned that due to the destruction of lulusia and the resulting events, imple down has begun flooding. so bon-chan may soon not have a choice but to leave and resurface into the surface world, at which point .... well, the entire point of 5.5 after it was created by morley (one of the revolutinary commanders) was to be a recruitement center and hideout for the allies of the revolution, until they are needed. or at least that's how ivankov (another revolutinary commander) used it. so, if dragon ever stops staring east and actually starts doing things, bon-chan and the other inmates of 5.5 might join the revolution against the tenryobitou. i'm sure bon-chan would happily fight right alongside ivankov (and luffy, if present). also, with the amount of people being reintroduced lately (we even got a cameo of gin and don krieg of all people last chapter ffs), i'd be shocked if we'd never get to see one of the most beloved characters in the show again.

He had his time and hes a real one, but i don't think we'll be seeing him actively engage in the plot again
