By "nurse" (re: Ah Duo's mum) they meant "wet nurse" : both Ah Duo and the Emperor were breastfed by her mum. The "just a nurse" probably implied Ah Duo's family didn't have as much political power/influence as a typical concubine family (of course that's just my understanding so take that with a grain of salt ๐ ) Love how Maomao's dedication to "it's just conjecture" reflects how much she respects and really ingrained Luomen's teachings, and that this personal rule he abides by is likely a result of his time in the rear palace ๐ณ
