Yesterday I was in Port Townsend shooting at the Palace Hotel with Mark Sandvig. We've known each other 10 years already and every time we shoot it's just a nice groove.
We shoot emotive art ...I would describe our photos as sensual 70's Playboy magazine cover type. He likes that I flow pose - that's when you hold your pose for 2 seconds and move ready into the next pose. It always gives you lots of options in the end for the mood you're trying to capture.
We used a softbox. It's very ideal for indoor shoots; it rains a lot in Washington and it's often too cold to shoot outside.
The main picture of me in the red gown shows the soft box a little bit, in the mirror. I removed it later with the clone brush and healing tool.
