Aaaaaaaaaand - that's it!!! Really! Yes! Dear readers, we are actually, seriously, finally here, at the very last chapter of arc 24. Bedlam Boundary crashes to an end at long, long, long last. The end of the dream, the end of the rescue mission, the end of this arc which I have now been writing since January of this year - it is here! This is it. I'm completely serious. I hope you enjoy it! It's a long time coming.
But! This is not the end of Katalepsis Book One, not quite (which is probably obvious!) As I have mentioned previously, there's still a short epilogue to come; you might want to take a peek at the Table of Contents page for a hint or two. We're not done just yet.
And! I have an incredible piece of art from over on the discord, shared with me this very day, in an act of perfect timing. Neon Teuthis Katalepsis, The End of Bedlam Boundary, is an edit/modification of a rather famous movie poster, made by the very talented Galactic. What a glorious way to end off this arc! Thank you so much!
As I said, this is not yet the end of Book One. I (and Heather) will be back here next week, for the start of the ... mopping up? We'll see you then!

2024-12-15 01:28:09 +0000 UTCI do have a habit of cliffhangers, I guess! But yes, now she's down in the abyss, all by herself, but ... she's done this before! And this time she's very large indeed.

2024-12-07 20:13:12 +0000 UTCI get it, this is how it is. I don't know why I thought the train had brakes. Minor lapse in judgement perhaps. Now I have the pleasure of agonizing over the fact that Heather is back down in the abyss alone.

2024-12-07 17:59:25 +0000 UTCIt's been a very long arc, indeed! It's ... finally done, gosh.

2024-12-07 17:20:48 +0000 UTCAh! I do apologise. I knew I had to do the cliffhanger, structured in this way, but I was plagued by the desire to write both this chapter and the first 1-2 of the epilogue all at once, to spare readers the cliffhanger inherent in this arc's ending. That was unfortunately too much to finish all at once. I can promise closure across the epilogue though, it's time for falling action, as it were!

2024-12-07 17:20:34 +0000 UTCLMAO. Ahem. I promise there is no secret chapter 39! The arc ends with the dream, which ends with the draining of the water. Though I'm not yet 100% certain how long the epilogue arc will be ...

2024-12-07 14:39:35 +0000 UTCI'm not going to lie I was looking forward to a closure more than I was a cliffhanger.
