And we're back! Hello everybody; if you've been reading my stories for a while then you're probably used to the 3-1 schedule by now. If you're new, then welcome back to another three weeks of fresh Maidens chapters.

Behind the scenes, things have shifted around a bit. Arc 2 is now going to be 6 chapters long. The first draft of chapter 4 was nearly 13k words, which in itself is never a problem, but it wasn't giving the characters their due, so I had to restructure. Which I think resulted in something much stronger! Octavia is certainly having ... fun(???) I know I'm having a great time writing her. I could not be more pleased with Octavia as a protagonist.

Seriously though, I'm having an amazing time writing Maidens. It's going even better than I dared to hope. And I also hope, dear readers, that you are enjoying it just as much as I am.

Also! I have more art, from the discord server! This week we have a wonderful sketch of Octavia herself alongside Azure Infinity, from back in chapter 1.4 (by sporktown heroine!) Then we also have a piece of fanart that I am going to print out and pin above my computer for the next six months: zoogpile, featuring Nerys (by Cera!). This one made me do a little squeal. Thank you all so much, it's amazing to see!
