Evolution of the Spares poster!

We recently released two new posters, one for our new Eddisode Beaster Bunny and one for a total classic called Spares. The Spares poster design in particular went through a lot of revisions from its initial concept, so we're sharing that development with you on Patreon!
The idea was originally by Fran, who envisioned a poster of just Edds. A hundred clones of Edd all staring into the distance, with one 'real' Edd looking worried in the middle (1). From there Jon drew up a second design featuring all the characters mixed up together and doing different things (2), and an alternate version with all the clones standing still and looking brainless (4 & 5). After a lot of discussion we chose to go with a design where each clone was doing something- talking to each other, laughing, drinking coke etc...
Jon and Matt went back and forth a few times to fix placement of characters. As you can see at one point there were a few too many gaps, and in another revision there were a lot of the same character bunched together... Then we were finished!
