We are absolutely delighted with the response to Slippery Slope so far. Your comments, shares, and likes made the Christmas holidays even more special.
We're going to share several behind the scenes posts about the short. Here's the first one, a bumper gallery of concept art!
The first image is Fran's original concept art for the girls in their snow gear, followed by individual character concepts by Jon. Jon drew Tequila (their cat, based on another real world kitty like Ringo) with and without booties, and one option with a little hat. Once we locked in the character models Jon made reference sheets for them including colour palettes. We've also included some extra stuff including early drawings of the mountain layout and Billy's initial concept for the scooter's turbo engine, which he later animated.
