Why I’m Faceless

I am a free and open person, and my nude photos express that. But what conflicts with that freedom is the fact that I’m hiding my face. How does that go with the personality I just said I had? Unfortunately, our society isn’t as free and open as many of us would like it to be. The reality is that, to be accepted in this world we live in, we have to follow certain rules, even if they don’t seem to make sense. I work as a university lecturer, and if people found out about this newfound activity, it would be extremely frowned upon; I could lose credibility, or even worse, lose my job.

I kind of envy that you have this anonymity. When I saw how brave some of your photos are (you'll see what I mean soon, patrons) I really challenged me to ask myself if i have been brave enough on this challenge?

The more I think about the relationship between nudity and my teaching credibility, the more illogical it seems. What does taking and posting nude photos have to do with my skills? Answer: nothing. Why should I lose the respect of my colleagues for doing this? Answer: I shouldn’t. You could say that it is “unprofessional,” but even digging deeper into the dichotomy between “professional” and “unprofessional,” you will just find made-up societal rules. In an ideal world, this shouldn’t matter, but it does, and I acknowledge that.

Even after 4 years although I feel super comfortable with the way my body looks now, there are still aspects I haven't shared ( well, I recently shared a lot more in my latest yoga video in 50 Shades of Suze) but that was probably down to you. And then I realised that yes, you are brave and also there's something wonderful about anonymity to have total freedom to share your body without fear of people sharing the content out of context and it affecting your professional life,

We all wear masks. Maybe in family gatherings, we have to adhere to their values in order not to disappoint. For most working professionals, we often have to hide certain parts of our selves so that we fit into the system. As for me on Patreon, I wear the mask of anonymity for the same reason.
