2018-09-19 18:43:03 +0000 UTCI have many tattoos you don't need to avoid soap for 5 days. It is generally advisable too keep the clingfilm on overnight the day you get it, only removing it if 100% necessary and if you do, wash with mild antibacterial soap apply Vaseline and re cover with new film. The next morning you can remove film, wash with the same soap previously mentioned and use Bepanthen to protect and moisturize the tattoo. Re-apply bepanthen as and when the tattoo starts to dry up. Continue this process for a few days. untill tattoo starts to itch and scab. At this point swap bepanthen for savelon (bepanthen is too thick and will prematurely remove scabs. Once scabs start too free up when washing awitch Sabelon for cocoa butter or any natural moisturizer you like. A couple more days and all scabbing will be gone and your tattoo is healed. However continue to moisturize frequently for about 2 weeks and you should be good.
