Growing up my walls were covered in pictures of vogue from the 90s, and this whole thing of looking "cool", not having any emotion or expression, was just always how models posed. When I get to thinking about what "cool" means, I realise that it simply means "cold". Why was this look of 'not giving a fuck' adopted by fashion models, maybe it was to not distract from the clothes?
