Better person

Meeting this new person in my life is bringing up all kinds of emotions, They are coming up for healing. More waves of emotions to process. I don't know if you are even into doing deep personal reflections and deep inner work? All i can say, is once I can see past the pain, and see that my pain has nothing to do with the other person's behaviour towards me, ....I realise that it's just wounds from the past, coming up to be seen and integrated...
Maybe you're thinking "what bullshit!" ...and that's ok. For me,I've been on a really long journey for the past decade to understand why I felt so much pain inside, and the more i have the courage to go inwards rather than turn from it and go get a drink, or splurge on information excess on my phone...or get really "busy", the more courage i have to just be with these feelings, the quicker I realise i have the power to heal them, And to me it's definitely not bullshit. I've healed myself from a false diagnosis of Bipolar, and now I'm healing traumas that keep me stuck in old cycles of pain....I believe we have the ability to heal ourselves.
I truly believe that this person is giving me the opportunity to be a better person, and to become the kind of person I would like to see show up in relationship. Spacious, trusting and understanding....it's all a work in progress ;-)
*I made this with my laptop, and maybe it's the light or the camera, but it's not as clear as I would like...but I always stay true to capturing a moment in time in my life, truer than missing it because of the need to have the best technology. Of course I want you to have the best viewing experience, and will be getting a new phone very soon so that I can always record in HD....thanks for your patience
