Humanness on my birthday

In my tired days I find my rest
In my weariness I learn what matters most to me
Today is my birthday
Birthdays bring up a lot for me
Do I deserve to be celebrated?
Do I deserve to be here?
I will decide how to celebrate this day once I awaken
But this year I want to celebrate that I am here
Through it all, I have made it this far
And life is so beautiful after all
My wish is this: I wish for peace within me and all whom surround me
