The puppet in this is just creepy. I never knew Henson was behind it, I assumed the puppet was CGI when it stretched its wooden skin. That said, you should review Pinocchio's revenge, looks hilarious.

2020-07-15 22:21:45 +0000 UTCI don't see the Review Question. This adaptation was pretty 'realistic' so to speak, but I never liked it. I don't think I've ever been a fan of any adaptation. The Disney version was terrifying and the Beninigni version was a little too off the rails. I do like that you pointed out the enhancements to the narrative and how they improve the story feeling more fleshed out and the characters, like Gipetto, having better motivations and links to their actions. Raven, I will point out that maybe you caught on subconsciously to the original story. In the story, he was a murderer and completely chaotic (actually a lot like the reboot of Child's Play). This does make me want to rewatch this with a new perspective now! Great job to all of you!
