Instead of lots of k-dramas where the girls are perfect and sweet and the guys are tough, but lovable I feel like most of these characters all have faults and it makes them very human in a crazy wild ride of a show and I love that feeling of loving a character as a character, but you still don't LIKE them sometimes, you know?

It's similar (in a way), but also has different time lines and things to add to even more twists and turns and it's done SO SO well. I'd definitely include it in a "season" where you are also doing a romantic or daily life drama or fantasy because it might have different timelines, but it's very grounded also. Love that you two are enjoying this gem of a show!

I sympathize with Hong-ju regarding her traumatized past but I was also frustrated with her when it came to her parents! Also hated how she fell for Yohan but still acted salty when Moo-chi rejected her after the fact & knowing him when he was a teenager smh weird is weirdโฆ whatever at least he was grown by the time feelings were developed ig.. Mixed emotions with her character til this day but thatโs me
