Development Update #9

I usually do these every two weeks, but I realize that the timetable for this release is much tighter since I lost almost ten days of time over the holidays so here it goes.

Over the last week, I have taken a couple of days off my day job to focus on the game. Quite a bit got accomplished. The script and coding are coming along nicely, and I see no issues with that end delaying any progress. Much is already done for QA on what is currently in build. As for renders, it is now upwards of 170 and climbing.

Now as for whats left there are still four scenes to go out of 15. The time to render all these will most likely be at least a week.

So if everything goes perfectly, sometime during the week of the 22nd is very likely. Next Sunday I will post a quick update on the status again.

Right now my rig is just rendering and doing nothing else. Hopefully, all goes well, and we can see 0.6 this month.

Thank you guys for all your support!

Hey I appreciate that. Don't worry, I wanted to take the time off. I get a decent amount of vacation time so it's no money out of the bank so to speak. Also the time spent I quite enjoyed. I may have worked a lot on the game but it was a vacation for me still, I know that because I'm not nearly as stressed out as I was the week before. Working on this is far less stressful than my day job :P

So probably and unpopular thing to say but you really didn't have to nor need to take days off of your day job to work on this project O.o Don't get me wrong, I'm sure everyone here is very grateful that you did but we don't want you hurting yourself to make a schedule date. And your current donation count certainty doesn't justify it (600 bucks a month is certainly not "take days off of my job to focus on this" money yet). Most of us totally get you following behind because of the holidays and so long as you keep us inform I doubt many would mind you pushing back the planned release date. There's no reason for you to get super stressed about this game yet. Wait until you at least hit the 2k mark ;)
