This will be a long one, so stick with me.
First, on the game front. I have stuck to rendering for now. Over Christmas, I will begin code and UI design for the new game.
As for progress, I am getting a good handle on this new engine, and I am picking up speed each day I use it. Last weekend I only managed about 20 renders and set up one animation. This weekend alone I created well over 30 renders and still going. In total there are now 115 renders sent through post-production and another 15 ready to be touched up. That number no longer includes stills for animations since I am currently doing full 30 fps movies for them.
Tier Changes
Now for the meat of this update is the tier changes that will take effect early next month. I want to let you know about them now, so you have ample warning before the end of the month.
Most of these changes will affect the $1 tier level, and I would like to explain my reasoning. DA itself did okay, and by the end managed to pay for itself, though "The city of Broken Dreamers" is far more ambitious and will require more time, money and resources to do it properly. I also found that my old tiers were a tad confusing so hopefully, this will be more clear.
$1 Tier (Citizen)
$5 Tier (Mercenary)
$10 Tier (Ghost)
$20 Tier (Augment)
$30 Tier (CEO)
$40 Tier (Broken Dreamer)
Again, I will not implement these until January. I realize some may be upset with the changes on the $1 tier but I felt it was something that was needed to be done.
