Discord BETA Breakdown
Added 2019-03-24 18:30:23 +0000 UTCI've always wanted to use the word BETA! I am using it now because I can. ;-) So here we go, the Discord is open to you guys! You special few who keep Adorkable Twilight & Friends going. But here's the catch, I want you to tell me if this seems like a good idea or not. I don't even know if I have the groups and channels working right. Once you log on the first time, I will go back and mark your account as a "Patron Pal" which will allow you access to the locked channels.
So tell me if my thinking is right or wrong on the things below and the correlate with the picture above.
*Adorkable News - Will have basic news I post from time to time about the comic or just silly stuff. It will be the first thing most people see when joining the Discord.
*All Purpose Chat - Is a text chat that anyone can use and join.
*All Purpose Voice Chat - Same as above but you can use your voice to talk to others.
*Adorkable Patron Pals - Is a locked voice/text channel for you special few that will be unlocked once you join the Discord for the first time and I can come back and mark your account as special. Once unlocked, in theory you will always have this special privilege even after you end your patronage.
So I am new to Discord but I think I figured it out... maybe. Tell me if these are good or bad ideas, or if what I am imagining won't actually happen. Should I remove channels or have more? Share all your ideas, explore the channel, leave messages! I will be back tonight to see what has happened. And now... here is the linking code just for you guys. Don't share it please. I want to have time to have one-on-one time with just you guys for a bit before we allow everyone in. Got to hammer out the issues first.
