X Cell fixes the notorious and previously mysterious bug of FaceGen, in addition to other improvements. Thus it can really benefit the game performance to a great extent.
But the problem is that it is natively incompatile with Atomic Muscle 2, and you will find all your male characters have white head rear. Hence a patch is necessary and new FaceGen files for basegame, all DLCs and all other mods which add male characters have to be regenerated.
I don't know if this is really worth the efforts, but here we go.
If you don't use X Cell, then this patch is useless, and I suppose all the FaceGen files from other mods will be redundant as well because they won't be read by the game.
You can quickly grab some newly-generated FaceGen files for several mods here, including SS2, Point Lookout and America Rising 2.
Atomic Muscle 2.0+ (Ulfberto's Patreon) by Ulfberto
First install X Cell and all of its three requirements.
Then install this mod.
On the left panel of Atomic Muscle, make sure the .ba2 files of this mod can be overwritten by FaceGen files of other mods so their modifications can take effect. For example, put this mod above my Male Companions AIO and A Bit Hotter Male Companions so the FaceGen files of the latter mods will take effect.
As for load order, put the esp file of this mod directly beneath "Atomic Muscle.esp". I don't think there exist any other mods which can overwrite the records of this patch mod, but try to put them near the end of your load order.
Fixes of head rear of all male characters when using both X Cell and Atomic Muscle 2.
Newly-generated FaceGen files (of male characters only) for basegame and all DLCs. You can still use this mod if you don't own DLC(s).
If you are using any other mods that alter the appearance of any male NPCs, those mods must 1) come with their own FaceGen files, or 2) come with modified .nif or .dds files, otherwise the male NPCs will remain their vanilla look and won't receive any appearance change.
However, if any new male characters involved in a mod, the FaceGen files that come with that mod would need to be regenerated exclusively for Atomic Muscle 2.
You can't change the appearance of any NPCs in game dynamically anymore, due to the FaceGen files locking their appearance. The only way to change is 1) modifying the .nif files or .dds files, or 2) create a new esp file containing the new appearance and regenarate the FaceGen files, or 3) add "Is CharGen Face Present" of XX in FOEdit or exclude XX in the config file of X Cell.
If this patch is installed on an exisitng save, you probably have to use looksmenu to reset Nate's appearance to refresh the head part.
If you use any new face texture replacers or any 2k+ face textures, you need to regenerate FaceGen files. The FaceGen files in this mod come with vanilla 1k textures.
I have tested on my setup, either new save or exisitng saves, and I haven't found any other problems, except those mentioned in "Important Notes" above. Please let me know if this mod works well on your setup.
