i thought so too and need your confirmation, so this means this is a false alarm, i used malwarebytes and also Avira to scan and nothing was detected, btw that was a good idea, now i feel safe to run the game (edit: thanks for the game your game on steam brought me here)

The thing is that the engine we use - RPG Maker - is ancient and technically backward, it uses very outdated libraries and some local web code that is not even used online, but for some antiviruses can resemble malware behavior. This is an old and massive problem that is often written about on the internet: https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/my-game-exe-and-node-dll-is-being-flagged-as-a-virus.156149/ Moreover, for the sake of experiment, we decided to check several well-known games on this engine, officially downloaded from Steam: OneShot and To the Moon. The same thing. We even had an idea to draw a comic on this topic and make a post to close this issue once and for all, later we will do it!
