That's no basis to excuse poor behavior. I'm far more woke at 48 than I ever was in my 20s.

People tend to get set in stone in their mid 20s. After that real change is a rare thing. The most-woke version of J.K. was probably in London back around 1991, she was woke by the standards of that time and place, and that's just who she is. So .. disagree with her, be happy that society has continued to improve over the subsequent three decades, but maybe also feel a bit sad?

Unfortunately, in this celebrity-driven internet culture, we know more than we'd like about the lives and opinions of creators whose works we enjoy. And the unfortunately, "THE MORE YOU KNOW..." can ruin beloved works of art. Of course, once these artists are dead, we may be able to come back to their works with an open mind. So people like Woody Allen have something to look forward to.

The inability of Rowling to STOP DIGGING THE FUCKING HOLE she's made is breathtaking.
The way things are going she's going to hit magma sometime next week. And TBH at this point, no great loss.
I feel blessed not knowing who the hell Graham Linehan is.
