Reason 1: Family Life
No one knows what I actually do as far as artworks go and for my sake, it needs to stay that way. Until I have just enough to be on my own. Or find a roommate. This is a struggle because I'm needed in literally every minor convenience. Grocery/sundry shopping, repairs, payments, cooking, pet care, money - list can go on.
Yes this is still a problem and it's just getting worse down the road. I'm actually watching my mother grow more and more insane by the day.
Reason 2: Taxes
I put off taxes since 2019 due to the global crisis (and aforementioned mother banning anyone from leaving house, and whatever craziness you can imagine in-between) so for one year, I was left with a hefty payment I'm still overseeing. It's been paid but this is the second time I was harassed over payment even though it's on record. Spoke with a rep and not to happy with the answer but there's a much smaller difference I can pay off. Hope this will be the last I hear of it.
Reason 3: Social Media in general
It goes without saying internet media, overopinionated news, and the brain rot that accompanied both has emotionally and physically drained me to the point I almost fell out of drawing (again). I only remain committed because of the content I still owe and need to finished. After that we'll see...
I want to start next year right this time. I'm at wit's end and I can't take these delays anymore. If I end up homeless again so be it. Anything for some freedom.
