Mags, but I redesign her a little bit...
Added 2023-11-04 17:30:00 +0000 UTCIt's been sometime since I've drawn Mags outside of some occasional doodles here and there. Truthfully, there has always been a few elements to her look that I wasn't happy too much with, so I figure I'd try a new approach for her! I guess you could consider this as like, a Mags 2024 design...
- Of course, I think her core design should remain, but I've toyed around with the idea of having a bit of her hair showing from the back of her head -- something I've always wanted to include but felt it clashes with her grease marking on her head. I still wanna make it work 'cuz I think it looks cute on her, haha.
- Similarly, I'm trying a new approach for her muzzle/nose as well. Instead of something of a button nose, I tried maybe something more rodent-esque here! Still deciding if I like it being solid black, or making it pink again.
- Lastly, some adjustments to her clothing -- her jumpsuit will probably be a single, solid dark blue color (instead of having lighter inside parts), and her shoes take on a more boot-like appearance (which are loosely based off Chuck Taylor's with higher soles)! I'm also debating on keeping her gloves a simple brown color than the older yellow gloves.
ANYWAY! I still love this lil baby a lot, and I still wanna tell some stories with her. For now, I'm focusing on Roaring Spirits, but if I ever feel confident enough to do two projects, she will be the second! Let me know how you guys feel about the new approach~
